Kevin Spagnolo Simone Rugani

The generation of ” apprentices ” is pushing at the door and is seriously challenging the primacy of the ” masters “. This is the case of two under-30 performers such as Kevin Spagnolo and Simone Rugani, who in just a few years of study and practice have already reached the heights of maturity. Both of them were born, musically, in Lucca, a city that is generous with talent, and they both follow parallel paths: Spagnolo won the Geneva Competition at the age of 18 and from there flew off, while Rugani dedicated himself mainly to chamber music. Together they offer a programme in perfect balance between late romanticism and the 20th century.
