Sarah Jane Morris, one of the UK’s finest soul, jazz and R&B singers, always balancing between a reverence for tradition and a desire to explore new musical territories, in “Sweet Little Mystery” she celebrates the concept of freedom by combining jazz, blues, rock and African rhythms. Her voice is sensual and sophisticated, sharp and refined: a real force of nature. She takes the stage at the Etruscan Museum of Marzabotto together with her two trusted guitarists Toni Remy and Tim Cansfield for an acoustic concert that promises a journey through the musician’s repertoire and her many projects: from the tribute to John Martyn, the talented Scottish singer-songwriter who died in 2009, celebrated in the album “Sweet Little Mystery” (2019), to the recent “Let the Music Play” that beautifully renders the musical freedom that distinguishes Sarah Jane Morris.
