Quartetto Vanvitelli

In a very brief period of time, from its creation in 2017, the Vanvitelli Quartet  has managed to stabilish a strong and precise identity. Firstly, thanks to the originality of the formation that brings together the violin, harpsichord, archlute and cello, and secondly through an acurate choice of repertoire that favors the  renowned and active composers of the Neapolitan school of the eighteenth-century’s Europe. After having focused its attention on Michele Mascitti, a violinist from Chieti who became very famous in Paris, the Quartet dedicated itself to the rediscovery of Giuseppe Agus, a Sardinian violinist of neapolitan formation, who lived for many years between London and Paris.
