Iranian pianist Ramin Bahrami dedicates his interpretative research to the monumental keyboard oeuvre of J. S. Bach, which he approaches with the respect and cosmopolitan sensitivity deeply rooted in his cultural background and musical education. His German, Russian, Turkish, and Persian heritage—an intrinsic part of his upbringing—enables him to engage with Bach’s music in a way that highlights its profound universality. Bahrami has performed at major international festivals and records exclusively for Decca. His CDs are bestsellers, and he has entered the GfK Top 100 Albums Chart five times. Among the many accolades he has received is the MozArt Box Prize. He is also the author of two books published by Mondadori, a third titled Nonno Bach released by Bompiani, and five more published by La Nave di Teseo.
