Enrico Pieranunzi

piano

Enrico Pieranunzi appoggiato a un pianoforte

The blues, Scarlatti, a Gershwin tune, an original composition that tells a story all its own.
Enrico Pieranunzi’s solo piano recital defies clichés and geometric logic, turning jazz and classical—often thought of as parallel lines—into two paths that converge. This fusion began early in his musical life, when the sounds of Charlie Parker, Django Reinhardt, Lee Konitz, and Chet Baker lived side by side with Bach and Chopin. And it continues to this day, increasingly so, in his free and deeply personal pianism.
Unlimited—blues, baroque, and much more. An eclectic world where piano playing, composition, and arrangement are inseparably intertwined. Pieranunzi’s career has also frequently extended into composing for film and theater.
This is the boundless musical world of Enrico Pieranunzi, one of Europe’s most versatile musicians, whose unique sonic journey has always brought jazz and classical music together, side by side from the very beginning.
