Amadé: A Musical Story about Mozart for Children
Amadé is a performance for children that tells the story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through the perspective of his father, Leopold—a central figure in his life, from whom Mozart ultimately had to distance himself in order to find his own expressive freedom.
Following the stages of their journey through Italy, the audience encounters a story of meetings and conflicts, leading to the moment of an inevitable separation.
The Story from Leopold’s Perspective
The narrative places Leopold and his relationship with his son at its centre: a decisive presence, but also a bond from which Mozart must gradually break away in order to become truly himself.
