The awakening and repose of Don Quixote, the virtues and miseries of Sancho Panza, the adventures of Rocinante, and the ineffable beauty of Dulcinea resonate in the music of Diego Ortiz, Luis Milán, Antonio de Cabezón, and Bartolomé de Selma y Salaverde.
