Ramin Bahrami piano music by J. S. Bach

Ramin Bahrami piano music by J. S. Bach
The interpretative research of Iranian pianist Ramin Bahrami is devoted to the monumental keyboard oeuvre of J. S. Bach, which he approaches with the respect and cosmopolitan sensitivity that permeate his cultural background and musical training. The German, Russian, Turkish and, of course, Persian influences that shaped his early life enable him to engage with Bach’s music in a way that highlights its inherent universality.
Bahrami has performed at major international festivals and records exclusively for Decca. His albums are bestsellers and have entered the GfK Top 100 best-selling charts on five occasions. Among his many accolades is the MozArt Box Award. He has authored two books for Mondadori, a third published by Bompiani—Nonno Bach—and a further five with La Nave di Teseo.
