Olga Davnis
piano
Born in Moscow on November 9, 2003, Olga Davnis began her musical studies at the age of three. In 2021, she graduated from the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, studying piano with Tatiana Zelikman and harpsichord with Olga Martynova. She is currently pursuing advanced studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis under the guidance of harpsichordist and conductor Francesco Corti, as well as at the Gnessin Academy of Music and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow, where she is specializing in harpsichord with Olga Martynova.
Her training includes international masterclasses with renowned artists such as Filippo Gamba, Pierre Hantaï, Richard Egarr, Alexei Lubimov, and Costantino Mastroprimiano, among others.
In 2022, she won the Leipzig Bach Competition, receiving the Bärenreiter Verlag Special Prize and the Steinway & Sons Special Prize. In 2024, she was awarded First Prize at the Mae and Irving Jurow International Harpsichord Competition.
Olga Davnis has performed in recital at major international festivals, including the Bachfest Leipzig. Her repertoire spans from Renaissance to 21st-century music.
